The "Days of Homemade Cuisine" fair at the Forum Park on December 8 th , 9 th , and 10 th
Come and enjoy the charms of authentic homemade products from small producers that cannot be found on supermarket shelves
The New Year and Christmas holidays are approaching, and the "Food from Our Fields" association is here to help you choose homemade products in order to ensure timely provision for your table. Please visit the "Days of Homemade Cuisine" fair on December 8 th , 9 th , and 10 th at the FORUM PARK retail park in Mini Mall. The fair will be open all three days from 12 pm to 8 pm, and admission is free once again.
The event aim is product promotion from small agricultural food and beverage producers. Numerous producers from all over Serbia will present a variety of products to homemade cuisine lovers. Tasting and shopping meat products, the most delicious cheeses, homemade cakes and pastries, syrups and juices, honey and honey-based products for immunity boosting, homemade wines, brandies, and liqueurs will be at disposal to all visitors. Stands featuring gingerbread cookies, biscuits, lollipops, chocolates and silk candies, which are essential holiday treats, are prepared for the youngest ones. There will also be a selection of well-known homemade aivar (ajvar), spicy pepper spread (ljutenica), colorful salads, and spices available for sampling. Among the many stands, you will also find blackberry wine, which is exceptionally healthy and made from blackberries harvested at the foot of the Jastrebac mountain. The aroma of homemade Vojvodina strudel with poppy seeds or walnuts, which is very tasty and nutritious, will waft through the air and not far from the wine.
In addition to tasting and shopping, you will also have the opportunity to participate in family workshops that we have prepared for you:
- "Decorate your gingerbread" family workshop
We are inviting all moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas to bring their children and/or grandchildren to "Decorate Your Gingerbread Cookie" creative family
workshop. Together, we will be creating edible gingerbread cookies in the shapes of gingerbread men, snowflakes, Snowmen, Santa Claus, and Christmas trees. All kids and parents who come on Saturday, December the 9 th , from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, can be part of the working atmosphere, and in the end, they can enjoy and take home a gingerbread cookie that they have decorated themselves.
- „ Gingerbread Man - Make a New Year's ornament and write a letter to Santa Claus“ family workshop
On the third day of the event, on Sunday, December the 10th from 1.00 to 3.00 pm, we will hold a family workshop named "Gingerbread Man - Make a New Year's ornament and write a letter to Santa Claus", where we will all create ornaments for the Christmas tree in the shape of a Gingerbread Man. Children and parents skillful hands will be creating the most beautiful ornaments that they can take home and decorate their own Christmas tree with. We will also write a letter to Santa Claus together, have fun, and socialize.
As a reminder, the "Food from Our Fields" association has organized a large number of events in the past where traditional homemade products manufacturers from all parts of our country have presented themselves. We are all having wishes and plans for the coming year, and our wish is to continue promoting homemade food because we believe that the "Days of Homemade Cuisine" event can help agricultural producers be more visible and present healthy food they produce to the citizens directly.
